Several Laliga clubs are showing interest in Manchester United youngster Facundo Pellistri.
Signed in the summer by United, the Uruguayan winger featured for the club’s junior side before moving to Laliga side Alavez in January where he helped tem secure their league status.
The Peoples Person last covered Pellistri’s potential stay at Alaves a few weeks ago and now that seems to have taken a step closer to happening with the club said to be interested in keeping the player for another season on a loan deal.
While he has done well with Alaves, there is a feeling that he isn’t still ready to represent United at senior level with the club already said to be in the market for Jadon Sancho who plays the same position as his.
The player needs regular first-team football and United is said to have been impressed by his output in Laliga and will be open to having him join a team that will give him more playing time in the coming season.
I am told that on Monday Pellistri will discuss his options with #MUFC for next season. After securing their La Liga place, Alavés have already officially requested Facundo stays for another year. Other Spanish clubs have also expressed an interest in taking the Uruguayan on loan— Jonathan Shrager (@JonathanShrager) May 29, 2021
