Borussia Dortmund won’t let striker Erling Haaland leave easily with the Bundesliga side having slapped a €200m price tag on the Norwegian.
According to Spanish publication AS via Daily Mail, Dortmund doesn’t want the player to leave this summer as they feel he is still an important part of the team more so with the club set to lose Jadon Sancho.
Losing the duo in the same window will be a catastrophe in their aims with the Norwegian said to be attracting interest from the Manchester clubs and Real Madrid.
While United are not keen on having the player this summer, there are reports that the presence of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might convince the player to sign for the English giants next season when his release clause will be somewhere near £70m; this set to activate in the summer of 2022.
It is a move that has scared some of the clubs in Europe who want to get the player this summer before United can pounce on him next summer; Chelsea said to be the other team ready to spend on the player.
Real Madrid has made contact with Erling Haaland. The Norwegian has been informed that if PSG maintains its refusal to sell Mbappé, Real Madrid will speak with Borussia Dortmund to secure the transfer of Haaland. #RMFC (ABC) pic.twitter.com/RoHSWJXzKr— Football Talk (@Football_TaIk) June 4, 2021
