Neville not a fan of the new Manchester United kit

Former Manchester United great Gary Neville has slammed the club's new home kit, calling it "basic" and saying it "doesn't tap into the club's tradition."

The revised shirt, which features new sponsor Team Viewer, which has replaced Chevrolet, was leaked earlier this month, and it has divided views among supporters.

The 'leaked' jersey was initially reported by Footy Headlines, who also showed photographs of the club's new away kit, which is based on United's 1991-93 away shirt and might be a fan favorite.

And Neville has expressed his opinion on the potential new look.

The kit is expected to be worn by United in the 2021/22 season, when manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be looking for his first trophy since taking over the club in 2018.

In the 20/21 season, the team came close to winning their first trophy since 2017, finishing second in the Premier League and losing the Europa League final on penalties.
