Manchester United have reportedly made a better offer for Jadon Sancho to meet Borussia Dortmund’s demands.
According to Sky Sports, United have offered £75m, after an initial £67m fee was rejected by the uncompromising Bundesliga giants.
“Manchester United have made an improved bid for Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho, which is believed to be worth more than £75m,” Sky reported.
“The structure of the proposed bid would see United pay more up front with the rest in achievable add-ons.
“United's initial proposal was believed to be £67m up front plus around £8m in add-ons.
“Dortmund are thought to be considering the latest offer, although reports in Germany suggest they value Sancho in excess of £80m.
“However, there is a willingness from all parties to get a deal done with Sancho's current deal up in the summer of 2023.
“United remain the most "realistic destination" for Sancho - though other clubs are still interested,” the report concluded.
It now remains to be seen if the Red Devils will finally land their target after the chase failed last season.
Meanwhile, Sancho is expected to feature as England take on the Czech Republic this week in a hunt for a last 16 place.
