Richarlison set a new record as he grabbed a hattrick during Brazil's 4-2 victory over Germany in the Tokyo Olympics.
The Everton forward became the first 9Premier League player to register a hattrick at the Olympic games. Inside 30 minutes of play, the Brazilian had already scored three goals leaving Germany trailing as the halftime whistle blew. However, in the 57th minute, Nadiem Amiri reduced the deficit to two before Maximilian Arnold was sent off for a second yellow card, forcing Germany to finish the game with ten men.
Ragnar Ache scored the second for Germany but Paulinho ensured Brazil bag all the points as he scored the fourth in the stoppage time.
Brazil are now on top of Group C with 3 points and will be up against Ivory Coast in their second game while Germany face Saudi Arabia.
