Hammers and Leverkusen join Nat Phillips race

West Ham United is one of the teams said to be interested in Liverpool defender Nat Phillips.

The center half was initially linked to Brighton as a possible replacement for Ben White, who is set to join Arsenal.

According to Sky Sports, the Hammers are eager to bring Phillips to London, with manager David Moyes looking for a new center half.

Given his stature and aerial presence, the 24-year-old Phillips would fit the mold of what Moyes is looking for in a defender.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the Reds would be willing to sell Phillips this summer for around £10 million.
