🍾 Getting better with age: Robert Lewandowski's insane stats since turning 30

Bayern Munich set a new record on Sunday night when They beat Koln 3-2 in a thrilling Bundesliga clash. 

It was not a straightforward victory but they nevertheless got the job done, setting the record of scoring in 74 competitive games in a row across all competitions.

It was also Julian Nagelsmann's first Bundesliga victory as Bayern manager. 

One man though the youthful manager can count on to deliver more victories is the ever-green Robert Lewandowski

The Polish striker gave the Bavarians the lead, picking up from where he left last season. 

This was his second goal of the season, having opened his account against Borussia Monchengladbach, add his brace against Dortmund in the Super Cup, and he has four goals already!

Ordinarily, players lose their edge with age and disappear from the world stage as younger players take their spots. 

That however does not seem to be the case with Lewandowski, 33, as numbers prove he is becoming better and better. 

Since August 2018, Lewa has scored an incredible 144 goals! No striker has managed to score as much during that period.

So far, the striker has scored a total of 532 goals in 632 club games! And among those are 24 against his former club, Borussia Dortmund!

He is among the favourites to lift the Balon d'Or this year, having missed out last year's as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.
