The Premier League, just like many other European Leagues, returns this weekend after a two-week break to allow for the internationals.
After entertaining seven weeks, the league will be entering Matchday eight with a total of ten matches.
Ahead of the weekend, how does the discipline record look like?
Southampton's James Ward-Prowse will serve his first of a three-match ban in all competitions after he was setn off at Chelsea in Gameweek-7.
The Saints Captain will sit out the next two Premier League matches and his side's EFL Cup meeting with Chelsea, before being available again for Gameweek 10.
Two players are a yellow card away from suspension having already accumulated four cards so far.
- Emmanuel Dennis - Watford
- Oliver Skip - Tottenham
Some are also walking on a tight rope having been shown three yellow cards so far. They are;
- Abdoulaye Doucoure
- Paul Pogba
- Joel Veltman
- Josh Brownhill
Any player earning five bookings from their side's first 19 Premier League matches will serve a one-match ban in the same competition. Yellow cards are not carried over to the EFL Cup or FA Cup.
Players who accumulate 10 yellow cards in Premier League matches up to and including their team's 32nd fixture will serve a two-match suspension in the competition.
