🧠 Recommended bets

  • Over 3.5 goals in Dortmund vs Mainz
  • Leicester to score over 1.5 vs Man Utd
  • Both teams to score in Lazio vs Inter
  • Under 2.5 goals in Sociedad vs Mallorca
  • Draw in Lyon vs Monaco

🇩🇪 Dortmund vs Mainz

Dortmund returns to Bundesliga action sitting just one point off top spot thanks to solid form across their opening seven league matches (W5, L2). They've won all four of their home matches this term, but Marco Rose will be keen to sort out a defence that has shipped 13 goals in the top-flight already. Back-to-back defeats for Mainz have taken the shine off their impressive start to the 2021-22 Bundesliga season (W3, D1, L3) but they remain a decent side away from home. BVB has actually won their last eight home matches, scoring at least twice in each of those encounters.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Leicester vs Man United

Leicester had to settle for a point and a 2-2 draw despite leading 2-0 at Crystal Palace last time out. Kelechi Iheanacho and Jamie Vardy were on the score sheet, and Brendan Rodgers will be hoping for more from his senior strikers against a depleted Man United defence. Solskjaer's visitors have dropped five points in their last two fixtures, losing at home to Aston Villa and then drawing 1-1 draw with Everton, also at the Theatre of Dreams. The corresponding fixture last season ended 2-2 and it wouldn't be a surprise to see the spoils shared again, considering that United will be without first-choice central pairing Raphaël Varane and Harry Maguire. Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers is unbeaten in four of his six meetings with Ole Gunnar Solskaer, despite never keeping a clean sheet (W3, D1, L2).

🇮🇹 Lazio vs Inter

From the highs of starting the Serie A season with back-to-back wins to the lows of only one win across their next five matches (W1, D2, L2), Lazio's season has been a rollercoaster so far. They've been excellent at home overall though, going three games unbeaten here this season as part of a run of 16 without loss as the home side in Serie A (W14, D2). They've hit 11 goals in the last three games alone. Defending champions Inter have made an unbeaten start to the defence of their Scudetto crown and rallied from behind last time out to beat Sassuolo 2-1.

The Nerazzurri have scored 2+ goals in a club-record 12 consecutive league games and they've dropped only two points on the road all season. Sergej Milinković-Savić has four league goals against Inter throughout his career, while Inter's new striker Edin Džeko has scored six Serie A goals in 2021-22, making him the first player since Ronaldo in 1997-98 to score at least six in his first seven league games for Inter.

🇪🇸 Real Sociedad vs Mallorca

Sociedad went nine games unbeaten in all competitions (W5, D4) after losing their season opener in La Liga to Barcelona. Sociedad has made the Reale Arena a fortress of late, registering clean sheets in each of their last four home league fixtures. Mallorca boss Luis García Plaza has only lost one of his last eight LaLiga games against Sociedad (W3, D4), and with eight of the last ten LaLiga H2Hs seeing at least one side fail to score, there's every indication this will be tightly-contested. Seven of Sociedad's last nine matches (all comps) have featured under 2.5 goals, and their last two have each ended 1-1.

🇫🇷 Lyon vs Monaco

Lyon will be disappointed with their mid-table status at this early stage of the Ligue 1 season. While they stand as favourites to win here, they're without a clean sheet in five league games (W2, D2, L1), of which three saw them concede a penalty beyond the hour mark. Sofiane Diop has scored a second-half goal in both of Monaco’s Ligue 1 away wins this term and just one of the last 16 Ligue 1 H2Hs has produced a goalless second half, so there should be plenty of goalmouth action to savour between two of France's more entertaining sides.
