There was trouble in Ligue 1 on Sunday night when the match between hosts Lyon and Marseille had to be called off after Dimitri Payet was hit with a bottle.
The former West Ham man was taking a corner in the fourth minute of the match when he was struck by a projectile from the crowd; a move that saw his teammates walk off the pitch and back down the tunnel in protest.
The referee and the league gave the all-clear for the game to go ahead but players from both teams failed to re-emerge from their dressing rooms and after an hour of waiting, it was finally confirmed that the match was abandoned.
Lyon players had briefly returned to the pitch to warm-up ahead of the proposed resumption, but Marseille's players remained in their changing room.

The Ligue 1 officials will be worried by this kind of occurrence as it was the sixth time this season that crowd trouble had delayed or stopped a game in the French top flight.
Nice were docked two points, one of them suspended, after serious incidents during their game against Marseille, whose players clashed with home fans who pelted them with missiles and stormed onto the pitch in August.
