Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund are doing all they can to keep striker Erling Haaland at the club for another year.
The Norwegian who is currently out with an injury has been one of the most in-form strikers in Europe with reports rife that he might leave in the summer when a clause in his contract becomes active.
The forward has scored 70 goals in just 69 appearances across all competitions since moving to Dortmund from RB Leipzig and according to Sky Deutschland, the club is ‘doing everything' to persuade the 21-year-old to remain with the club for a further season, offering him a significant wage increase in the hope of postponing his release clause until 2023.
Haaland has a release clause of €75 million in the summer something that the big clubs would be willing to give considering his output with Manchester City being the current favorites to sign him. Other clubs he has been linked with include, Manchester United and Real Madrid.
PSG will only enter the race for the player if they lose Kylian Mbappe who is yet to sign a new deal with reports rife that he will be joining Real Madrid in the summer.
