Manchester United interim boss Ralf Rangnick has confirmed that the duo of Dony van De Beek and Dean Henderson will start their Champions League game against Young Boys on Wednesday night.
The duo has had less game time this season owing to the form of David de Gea and Bruno Fernandes but with United already qualified to the next round of the competition, the duo will be handed a starting berth. However, Varane and Cavani are not ready yet to feature.
"They were part of the training session today and, if everything goes well, I expect both of them back in full training next week. Hopefully, Monday next week, they will be participating in all training sessions."
Anthony Martial joined fellow Frenchman Paul Pogba on the sidelines, last time out and is absent, while Phil Jones is ineligible for the group stages of the competition.
Youngster Anthony Elanga came off the bench for his first Premier League minutes of the season and is another attacking option as he is part of the Champions League squad.
It will the German's second game in charge of United after leading them to a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace in the weekend.
