Juve had taken a 25th-minute lead through Weston McKennie who headed home from Álvaro Morata’s cross but Inter restored parity ten minutes later through Lautaro Martinez from the penalty spot after Edin Dzeko had been brought down in the box by Mattia De Sciglio.
