🚨 EPL: Liverpool cut Man City's lead at the top, Arsenal held at home

Liverpool reduced Manchester City's lead at the top of the English Premier League table with a hard-fought 3-1 win over Crystal Palace.

Virgil van Dijk, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Fabinho scored the goals for Liverpool, while Odsonne Edouard got Palace's consolation.

Liverpool made a perfect start with an eighth-minute when Andrew Robertson sent over a killer cross from a resulting corner and expertly found Virgil van Dijk, who jumped highest and coolly planted a bullet header into the top left corner.

Fabinho and Robertson came close to adding to Liverpool's lead, but their efforts did not find the target.

The second goal finally arrived in the 38th minute when Oxlade-Chamberlain met a perfect cross from Robertson deep inside the box and controlled it with a nice first touch before producing an accurate strike into the bottom left corner via the post.

Palace pulled one back in the second half when Odsonne tapped in a Jean-Philippe Mateta cross to give Patrick Vieira's side a lifeline.

Liverpool however ensured they picked maximum points as Fabinho scored from the spot deep in injury time to give them a 3-1 win.

At the King Power Stadium, Leicester City threw away a 1-0 lead to draw 1-1 against Brighton.

Patson Daka gave Leicester the lead in the 49th minute, but an 82nd minute Danny Welbeck goal gave the visitors a point.

In another match, Arsenal were forced to settle for a 0-0 at home against a spirited Burnley
