We have a new AFCON legend in Cameroon. Vincent Aboubakar broke Samuel Eto’o’s 14-year-old record as the West Africans beat Comoros 2-1 on Monday night.
So what’s the actual record?
The 30-year-old goal upped his tally to six goals in the AFCON 2021. His iconic countryman Eto'o held the record of five goals in a single tournament in Ghana back in 2008 - but only as a Cameroonian.
SIX GOALS IN FOUR GAMES.

Cameroon will take on the Gambia in the quarter-finals on Saturday.
