Nine players are yet to be cleared by Kenyan Premier League Limited [KPL] to feature in the domestic league, due to lack of International Transfer Certificate [ITC].

Tusker’s Ugandan quartet Aucho Khalid, Martin Kiiza, Robert Omunuk and Andrew Sakayombya have not been issued with an ITC by their former club Simba FC.

Former Kenyan international midfielder Hillary Echesa [Kelab Bolasepak Betaria] and his Sofapaka teammates Julius Senoga [Kampala Kids League Association] and Manopi Koko [TP Mazembe] are also on the waiting list as well as Karuturi Sports’ Aucho Khalid and Nairobi City Stars’ George Blackberry Odhiambo.

Odhiambo and Khalid are waiting for the important document from Azam and Kase respectively.

The Tusker Premier League is scheduled to kick-off on Sunday 24 February.
