Kaizer Chiefs v Orlando Pirates, known as the Soweto Derby and one of Africa’s biggest, has been moved away from its traditional home of Soweto to the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban due to a pre-booking.

The 90 000-capacity FNB stadium where the derby is home to, will service a National Day of Prayer that had been booked prior to the Telkom Knockout Semi-Final draw that pitted Amakhosi and the Buccaneers.

“The first semifinal [of the Telkom Knockout] will be between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday‚ 24 November‚ 2018 at 3pm‚” the PSL said.

The fixture noted as the biggest in South African sport, will be played for the second time in under a month. Pirates beat Chiefs 2-1 in an Absa Premiership clash on 27 October.

The result was followed by the two Soweto giants winning their respective Telkom Knockout Quarter-finals to set up this month’s epic semi-final in the Zulu Kingdom.
