Kaizer Chiefs’ poster boy and captain, Itumeleng Khune gave an emotional post-match interview after losing to bitter rivals Orlando Pirates in last weekend’s Telkom Knockout semi-finals.

Khune was beaten twice as Amakhosi fell 2-1 at the hands of the Sea Robbers in a packed Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

In a post-match interview with popular local presenter Robert Marawa, the Bafana captain had a go at unnamed teammates.

The 29-year-old can be heard saying scathing lines such as:

“Maybe I need to tell the bosses I don’t deserve to wear this jersey.”

“It’s unacceptable to keep losing to Pirates like this.”

“We might as well tell Bobby [Team Manager] this badge is too heavy for us.”
