Wakiso Giants remained the only of the 24 FUFA Big League teams yet to taste a loss after coming from behind to edge Entebbe FC 2-1 away at Wankulukuku.

The pre-match talk was centred around Entebbe's head coach Allan Kabonge who was too vocal as he thumped his chest on how he will surge into his fourth direct-promotion lane with a win.

Solomon Wafula rose high to head the Entebbe side, renting at Wankulukuku, as early as the 13th minute.

But, Abdul Karim Kasule pulled level eight minutes before the break to give the Purple Sharks a boost.

Geoffrey Luutu sealed the victory at the hour-turn to complete the comeback as the self-proclaimed Ugandan Football Messiah failed to redeem himself.

The result pushes the Wakiso side based in Bugembe to 19 points, one ahead Doves All Stars.

The stars recorded the biggest win of the day with a 5-1 crushing result over Bukedea Town Council.

Unbeaten run ends

Bright Haguma scored late against Kiboga Young to give Doves FC from Masindi their first win on the road.

The result ended Kiboga Young's unbeaten run and also forced them to drop a place to second on the Rwenzori table with 20 points.

The Kiboga outfit beat Proline FC last time out to ascend to the summit but has now dropped to second due to their inferior goal difference.
