Top Scottish Premiership club keen on Nigerian striker

Scottish Premiership champions Celtic Football Club are reportedly close to sealing a deal to sign Nigerian striker Josh Maja.

According to The Scottish Sun reports, Celtic are keen on getting the Sunderland star with defender Jack Hendry moving on loan to the Black Cats as part of the deal.
 
Maja has entered the final six months of his contract with the League One club and has yet to pen a new deal on the advice of his agent. 
 
A number of teams in the Premier League and Germany are reportedly keeping tabs on the former Super Eagles invitee, who has notched 15 goals this season and was the highest scoring teenager in England's top four divisions in December prior to his 20th birthday.
