Uganda Revenue Authority’s assistant coach George Lutalo has admitted that the team is under immense pressure to perform.
The coach is standing in for his superior Sam Ssimbwa who is suspended for uttering statements that put the game into disrepute.
The tax collectors finished the first round with 22 points, registering only four wins in 15 games but have now won two in a row.
The assistant coach, Lutaalo, says that the team is under some pressure to perform and the matters are tensed up by the competition in the league.
“Actually, there is pressure because the situation [that we are in] is more of the result,” Lutaalo admitted to the media ahead of their match day 18 fixture against Maroons at Namboole on Friday.
“Where results are demanded, there will always be some pressure. We are in second round and want to win. So in that situation, we have a lot of competition in the league so, there is some pressure but we are trying to manage it.”
They face a team that is just a place and three points above the relegation line.
