Juma Ssekiyivu was a disappointed man after his team Nyamityobora Fc lost 2-1 to Kirinya Jinja SSS on Saturday.
Ssekiyivu says his team had a better game but rued the missed chances for the loss.
“We wanted three points [at Kirinya Jinja SS] but failed to pick even one. We had so many chances but our strikers failed to convert. We matched each other but they utilised well,” Juma noted.
The coach still has belief that his team can survive the axe but says a lot has to change for that to happen.
“We have a 50-50 chance to survive. We need to win at least seven of the eight remaining games which is a daunting task. We play well but have failed to win games because we are not scoring and our opponents are using theirs,” he added.
Nyamityobora lie 15th on the table with 13 points, nine below the safety line. They host Onduparaka on Tuesday in Mbarara.
