Absa Premiership giants Kaizer Chiefs have issued injury updates on Khama Billiat, Leonardo Castro and Itumeleng Khune.
The club’s physiotherapist David Miller revealed that Billiat, who was subbed off in last weekend’s game against Cape Town City, is a doubt for Baroka this Saturday.
“It concerns the calf area. The pain is subsiding, but we are watching him closely. He will undergo a late fitness test on Friday', said Miller on www.kaizerchiefs.com
“Castro is also under scrutiny,” Milner explains. “He picked up a comparable knock. He’s being monitored, and a decision will be made on his readiness to play this weekend,” Miller added about the Colombian striker Castro.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Khune is seemingly set to return earlier than he was expected.
“Itu saw the doctors on Tuesday. They are happy with his progress,” Miller concluded.
