Nigerian winger Moses Simon is excited after Levante ended a nine-game winless run in La Liga with a 4-0 spanking of Real Betis.
“My entire team and fans are really relieved after we passed through a difficult period by going nine matches without a win in La Liga,” Moses Simon told ScoreNigeria.
“There was a time this season we were fourth on the table, but presently we are struggling to stay out of the relegation.
So, it was really special when we beat Real Betis.
“To win 4-0 was huge and we hope to continue in this manner. It is good for our confidence leading up to the next game.”
The Super Eagles winger was a 66th minute substitute on Wednesday night. They have now moved up to 14th on the table with 37 points from 34 matches.
But on Saturday they face a daunting challenge at newly crowned champions Barcelona.
