Tottenham have appealed against Son Heung-Min's red card against Bournemouth on Saturday.

According to Sky Sports, the north London side had until 1pm (UK time) on Tuesday to lodge the appeal and make him legible for the final game of the season against Everton if successful.

The South Korean star received his marching orders in the second half of their 1-0 defeat to the Cherries for pushing over Jefferson Lerma in a match in which they finished with nine men after Juan Foyth was also sent off a few minutes later.

Spurs face Ajax in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final clash on Wednesday night.
