Ulinzi to miss four players against Posta

Ulinzi Stars will miss four key players when they entertain Posta Rangers in a Kenya Premier League match on Thursday afternoon at the Afraha Nakuru Stadium.

Defender Brian Birgen is still nursing a facial cut he sustained during the clash against Nzoia Sugar, and will not be available for selection.

He joins Ibrahim Shambi who picked a thigh muscle strain in the loss to Bandari FC at the Mbaraki Sports Club, Mombasa, as well as Boniface Okinyi, who also suffered a groin injury during the match.

Coach Benjamin Nyangweso will not be able to call on Daniel Waweru as well, as he recovers from a recurrent ankle injury that he sustained in April against Western Stima.

The team has however received some boost with the news that Omar Mbongi, who suffered a knock during the Nzoia game, will be fit for selection.

The teams drew 1-1 in the first leg, with Shambi scoring a beautiful goal to cancel out John Nairuka's first-half strike.

Ulinzi are currently placed eighth on 39 points, while Posta are 15th with 26 points.
