Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Jonathan Obika has been told to look for a new employer in the summer transfer window after EFL League One club Oxford United announced they would not be renewing his contract.
The 28-year-old joined Oxford on a two-year deal in July 2017 and it will be exercised further.
In 57 outings across all competitions, he scored eight goals and had seven assists to his name.
He damaged his anterior cruciate ligament in a friendly match against Swindon Town in October, which kept him on the sidelines for the remainder of the 2018/19 campaign.
Apart from the aforementioned clubs, Obika previously wore the jerseys of Yeovil Town, Millwall, Crystal Palace, Peterborough United, Charlton Athletic, and Brighton & Hove.
A former England youth international, he departed Tottenham Hotspur in 2014 after making four appearances for their first team.
