Gor Mahia boss Hassan Oktay has been named April Coach of the Month. 

Oktay, who led K’Ogalo to the 18th Kenyan Premier League title in his first season following a 1-1 draw with Vihiga United on Wednesday, has bagged the award for the second time having been feted in February. In the month of April, the Green Army suffered zero defeats as they picked five wins while settling four three draws in the nine matches they played.

“This feels as a fair reward for a difficult job. I’m happy for what my team accomplished,” said the Turkish.

The 45-year-old has bagged Kshs 75,000 and a personalized trophy.
