Harry Maguire says he is focused on England and not Manchester United

Leicester City defender Harry Maguire insists his focus is on England and "nothing else" ahead of the Nations League finals.

Maguire has emerged as a possible replacement for Vincent Kompany at Manchester City and has long been linked with a move to Manchester United from last year.

However, amid all the transfer speculation, the centre-back is adamant his focus is solely on the Three Lions.

"When I'm away with England, I don't think about anything to do with club football," the 26-year-old told Sky Sports when asked about United's interest.

"As soon as I wear this badge, it's really important to focus on England and nothing else. I'm fully focused on the two games coming up and that's where my head is at the moment."

Maguire was one of the standout performers as for England en route to the World Cup semi-final last year.
