Coach Kwesi Appiah is 'not surprised' that his Black Stars side lost to Namibia in a pre-African Cup of Nations preparations friendly match on Sunday evening.
Ghana went down 1-0 to the Brave Warriors in Dubai, as both sides prepare for the tournament that is set to start on June 21 in Egypt.
Speaking after the friendly match, the 58-year-old said he has been putting his team through intensive training, and that the result does not really matter.
"Not actually," Appiah said when asked whether he was surprised by the scoreline during the interview.
"We went out there to win, even though the whole of this week we've been loading them with hard training so there was some heaviness.
"But the bottom line is to get our final 23 so I had to let some other players to the player to get my final 23," he added.
The coach is expected to name his final team that will fly to represent the nation in Egypt and will have a chance to assess his final squad when they face Bafana Bafana in the last friendly match.
They are in Group F alongside defending champions Cameroon, Benin and Guinea-Bissau.
