It is advantage Posta Rangers in the Kenyan Premier League Promotion/Relegation Play-Offs after a 2-1 win in the first leg as John Kamau reveals that he is confident of scoring against Nairobi Stima and secure another season in the top tier.
Posta beat Stima away courtesy of goals from Joakins Atudo and Francis Nambute while the Nairobi Powermen restored parity momentarily in the first half through Dennis Oalo who extended his goal-scoring tally to 26. The Mailmen have history on their side as no National Super League side has sealed promotion to KPL via the playoffs tie after Ushuru failed twice.
Speaking in an interview, Kamau exuded confidence as he was certain of getting a goal against Stima, "This is a football game, which is always uncertain but if you look at my players, they are already motivated with the win because I think Stima will have to work a little bit more and one thing I can say is that there is no way they can pick three points without me scoring so that hands me an edge over them."
Kamau also lauded Atudo who scored the opening goal of the match, "That is the Atudo I've been seeing in the National Team and I can say that today he has been a leader in the field of play and with that he has given us something, if you look at his work ethic, he has given 100%."
