Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund have confirmed the acquisition of defender Matt Hummels from rivals Bayern Munich.
Hummels left Dortmund three years ago for rivals Bayern after spending seven successful years at The Westfalenstadion, winning the league and cup double in 2011/12 season, as well as establishing himself as one of the best defenders in world football.
It is believed though that the 30-year-old, who played 33 times last season for Bayern will have to take a pay cut on his current €12 million a year salary.
