Barcelona and Manchester United target Matthijs De Ligt has decided to join Italian giants Juventus this summer.
The Ajax defender has been linked with a move away from the Dutch side and Spanish giants Barcelona were termed his possible destination. United have been monitoring the youngster with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen to bolster his defence ahead of next season. As reported by Sky Italia, De Ligt will be keen to move to Juventus this summer with a deal of expected to be around between €60 and 70m.
Juve is confident of a deal but will have to improve their contract offer to meet De Ligt's demands. De Ligt decided against joining Barcelona, while PSG was also interested.
The Serie A champions will now enter formal negotiations with Ajax.
