Tammy Abraham: I'm ready to star for Chelsea

Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham believes there is a  chance for youngsters at the club, and that the looming transfer ban might help them blossom.

The striker has found opportunities at the Bridge hard to come by and has been loaned out on several occasions including last season away to Aston Villa

The striker shone while playing at Villa, scoring 26 goals in a highly productive season which ended in the team getting promoted to the Premier League

"Yes, definitely. That's how all the young players at the club are looking at it," he said while in camp with the under-21 English national team.

"There is a great chance for us so we must get our heads down at training and go for it at Chelsea. I have already been talking to the club about pre-season. I'm going to have a couple of weeks and then come back hitting the ground running.

"I do feel ready for Chelsea. I really do. There is no better time for a young player to be at Chelsea. I am going to give it my all,"

Chelsea have a host of young promising players mostly loaned out, with only Callum Hudson-Odoi and Loftus-Cheek being success stories in the recent past.

The club is facing a two-window transfer ban handed by UEFA and might be forced to call on the young players away to fill in slots.
