Guinea played out a 2-2 draw against Madagascar in their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations opener, and midfielder Naby Keita believes aggressive football can see them through Wednesday's fixture against Nigeria.
Keita, who plays for European champions Liverpool, was particularly disappointed with his side’s poor defensive play in the game.
"I think we have to play forward and we have to try to play with aggression,” Keita who came on as a second half substitute against the Barea’s told reporters.
"When you score, do not allow that the opposing team equalize because in this kind of tournament, you don’t give the opportunity to the opponent when you lead.”
Nigeria top the AFCON 2019 Group B following a 1-0 victory over Burundi on Saturday.
Wednesday's encounter will kick-off at 3.30 pm Nigerian time.
