Rabiot in Turin to seal Juventus switch

French midfielder Adrien Rabiot has arrived in Italy ahead of signing a five-year deal with Juventus.

Rabiot's contract at PSG will expire today after both clubs failed to negotiate an extension. The midfielder fell out of favour with the French champions and failed to make a single appearance during the second half of last season, finding himself frozen out and dropped to the reserves by coach Thomas Tuchel.

Rabiot is set to carry out his medical on Monday before signing a five-year deal with the Italian champions.

The deal would see Rabiot net £6m per season. He will further bolster new boss Maurizio Sarri's midfield options after the arrival of Welshman Aaron Ramsey, also on a free transfer.
