Zambia Women national team captain Misozi 'CR7' Zulu has left for Russia where she will link up with her new teammates at BIIK Kazygurt.
Zulu left around 04:30 at KK international airport. Zulu joins Kazygurt on a 5 months loan with an option to buy outright if she impresses ahead of renegotiations scheduled for December.
The Indeni Roses forward join country mate and former Indeni Roses forward Rachel Kundananji at the Kazakhstan giants. BIIK-Kazygurt who are regulars in the UEFA Women's Champions League will be taking part in the preliminary round.
BIIK were drawn in group 6 of the 2019/20 UEFA Women’s Champions League alongside hosts Flora Tallinn of Estonia, PK-35 Vantaa of Finland and EBS/Skála of the Faroe Islands. The ten qualifying group winners proceed to the 16 August draw for the round of 32, with the two-legged knockout phase commencing in September.
