Harambee Stars defender Bernard Ochieng has joined Kenyan Premier League newbies Wazito FC on undisclosed period.
Ochieng told the club website: “It is great to sign here. This is a club I have admired in how it manages its affairs and it is a good feeling to be worthy of playing for it.
“Wazito won the NSL title which is very competitive. Now that they are in the Premier League, we will work together to win more titles.”
On his part, the club’s Sporting Director Solomon Alubala said he has been following the defender for some time and it was the right moment to have him on board.
“I have wanted to sign Bernard Ochieng’ for some time now, I guess patience pays and this is the right moment to have him darn our jersey,” Alubala said.
Ochieng’ becomes the latest entrant at Wazito with the club having snapped up Joshua Otieno, Derrick Otanga and Kevin Omondi all from Sony Sugar and keeper Gad Mathews from Kariobangi Sharks.
