Bournemouth star Wilson signs four-year deal
Callum Wilson has signed a four-year contract extension with Premier League side Bournemouth, keeping him at the club until 2023.
The striker who has impressed last season was a target for Chelsea in January before the Blues opted to sign Gonzalo Higuain on loan from Juventus. West Ham United also showed interest as they wanted to replace Marko Arnautovic who wanted to head to China, but the striker opted to stay until leaving this summer.
"While AFC Bournemouth may be known as a smaller club, we've got some really big ambitions here. Everyone is pulling in the same direction towards those targets and goals,” he told the club’s official website.
"I feel like as an individual, my game is constantly improving here at the club. I want to continue that progress and reach even higher targets. I'm really excited about what the future holds."
The England international netted 15 goals while providing 10 assists in 33 games for Bournemouth last season.
