Charlie Austin has reportedly admitted to Southampton that he is not keen for on a move away from the club, after turning down West Brom, according to TEAMtalk reports.
West Brom made a move for Austin ahead of the summer after they agreed on terms on Jay Rodriguez’s return to former club Burnley.
However, after agreeing to a deal with Saints –Austin threw a major spanner in the works by confirming he was in no mood to accept a move to the Hawthorns.
The 30-year-old has 12-months left on his current deal at St Mary’s and may look to run down his deal and earn a bumper pay-day next summer.
