Christian Eriksen has been linked with moves to Manchester United and Real Madrid with Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino hopeful that he will stay ahead of next season.
Last month the Danish international confirmed that he is seeking a new challenge ahead of next season, "I feel that I am at a stage of my career where I would like to try something new." Real Madrid are looking to bolster their squad after a disappointing season and have been linked with Eriksen should they fail to land Paul Pogba.
Pochettino was hopeful that Eriksen will stay at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, "I hope he will [stay]. I think he is a great player, Christian. One of the biggest talents in football. After five years working with him, I am sure in the way that he plays, and I hope so yes.
"But you know, there is a lot of interest. I hope yes, but I don't know what is going to happen with that."
