Senegal will have to do without the services of Kalidou Koulibaly in the African Cup of Nations final against Algeria with Aliou Cisse terming his absence as a "regret".
Koulibaly picked up a yellow card in the semi-final clash against Tunisia which was preceded by a caution in the 1-0 win over Uganda in the Round of 16. The Napoli defender has been rock solid at the back for Senegal as they have conceded only one goal in the tournament which came in the 1-0 defeat to Algeria in the group stages.
Speaking in a press conference ahead of the final, Cisse spoke of missing Koulibaly in the final, "Kalidou Koulibaly is one of the best defenders in the world. I convinced him of representing Senegal and I'm sad he won't be available for the final because he's a very important player. His absence is a regret, but we will find the replacement and tomorrow we play for him."
The match kicks off at 10 PM (EAT) at the Cairo International Stadium.
