Nigerian winger, Samuel Chukwueze, has revealed that there is a lot ahead of him in the future.
Chukwueze had a sterling performance in his first season with La Liga club Villarreal.
He was also outstanding for the Super Eagles, winning bronze at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Chukwueze was hosted by Abia State governor Okezie Ikpeazu on his return to the country, and has told all who cares to listen that he is just getting started.
“I have not started playing football yet because last season was just my first full season as a first-team player. Now I want to continue to improve my game and learn more on and off the field of play.
“The Nations Cup in Egypt was a big honour for me because it was my first senior competition with the national team and winning the bronze medal even made it special. Now I just want to focus on the future and get more chances to represent Nigeria,” Chukwueze told AOIFootball.com.
The 20-year-old played six matches at AFCON 2019 where he scored one goal and won one Man of the Match award.
