Atletico Madrid's new signing Joao Felix has hinted at a possible move to the English Premier League in the near future.
The teenager became the third most expensive player of all time when he traded Benfica for the Madrid club, in a deal worth £112m.
Having made his debut in their match against Guadalajara in a preseason friendly the youngster is open to one day playing in the Premier League.
In an interview with the Bleacher Report, the 19-year-old simply replied "Premier League" when asked which of the other European leagues he would like to play in over the course of his career.
He was further asked about rumours that initially linked him with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, choosing to say it was not possible at the moment.
"Me, to Spurs?" he answered. "[Right] now that's impossible, but I don't know, [maybe] one day,"
Felix had a breakout season with Benfica last season, which eventually earned him the 'dream' move.
He is expected to replace Frenchman Antoine Griezmann, who left to join La Liga champions Barcelona.
Coach Diego Simeon revealed that the youngster will feature for his side on Friday against rivals Real Madrid in an ICC match, further allaying injury fears after he was withdrawn during his debut.
