Ligue 1 club FC Nantes are reportedly in contention to table an offer for Ghana international Majeed Waris following the shocking exit of manager Vahid Halilhodzic according to Ghanasoccernet reports.
FC Porto Actus revealed that the club has the funds to make a bid for the Waris as the departure of the manager made this possible for the French club.
Further reports suggest that FC Porto are demanding for an amount in the region of € 6 million for the striker who had a successful loan spell at Nantes in the 2018/19 season.
Waris made approximately made 33 appearances and scored five goals across all competitions.
The 27-year-old previously plied his trade for Lorient and Valenciennes in France after enjoying time in Sweden at BK Hacken and Trabzonspor in Turkey respectively.
