Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is excited to record a perfect start in Lille colour on Sunday.
Osimhen scored two goals to help Lille beat Nantes 2-1 in his Ligue 1 debut on Sunday.
The 20-year-old has now taken to social media to express his excitement.
“Debut win, goals, perfect start in Lille colour. God is the greatest, we move,”he tweeted after the game.
Osimhen, who signed for the French side from Club Brugge last week, opened scoring for Lille in the 19th minute.
Nantes equalised when Zeki Celik deflected Andrei Girotto’s strike into his own net six minutes after the break for the first goal of Christian Gourcuff’s reign as coach.
But Osimhen netted the winner in the 80th minute with a powerful strike to get Lille off to a bright start.
