English League One club Oxford United have officially signed Ghanaian youngster Dan Agyei in the ongoing transfer window.
Agyei was handed a three-year contract by Oxford which will see him remain at the club until 2021 respectively.
The club's official statement reads, "Oxford United are pleased to announce that Burnley striker Dan Agyei has agreed to join the U's."
The 22-year-old was recently on the books of Burnley before moving to the League One side - he also grew up playing for AFC Wimbledon.
“I came down and took a look around and really liked the set up at the club. The training ground, the staff, the players: it is a very ambitious place and I really liked the way everything is done," Agyei told the club's official website.
"I’ll be there to watch the Peterborough game today and then the hard work starts on Monday to get match sharp and try and help the team as part of a successful season.”
Agyei scored approximately 35 goals for Wimbledon during the 2014/15 season which attracted the attention of Burnley.
The youngster has also enjoyed loan spells with Coventry City, Walsall, and Blackpool respectively.
