Ghana international striker Kevin-Prince Boateng scored his first goal since joining Fiorentina that concluded their pre-season preparations with a 4-1 win over Turkish side Galatasaray.
Boateng was on the scoresheet in Fiorentina's back-to-back wins - a positive feat for the side since the return of head coach Montella back in April.
Boateng converted a penalty in the 42nd minute to open the scoring before goals from Sottil Benassi and Simeone ensured that Fiorentina won the match convincingly.
Emre Mor found the back of the net to score the consolation goal for Galatasaray.
Boateng joined Fiorentina this summer from Sassuolo in a fee that was reportedly in the range of one million euros.
