Micho says any coach would want Tyson

Orlando Pirates coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has admitted his interest to sign Thulani Hlatshwayo from Bidvest Wits.

Micho faced journalists today hours after the 3-0 humiliation from SuperSport United and ahead of the MTN8 clash with Highlands Park this weekend.

Asked about the reports of his side courting Hlatshwayo, Micho simply said any coach would want a player of his caliber.

“There is no coach in this country that would not like to have the captain of Bafana Bafana – a person that brings personality and performance,” said 'Micho to Kick Off.



“But in the same moment, until what is supposed to happen, and sport and economical connotations unfold, I have no right to go in that direction.”

The Serb did also add that his technical team nevertheless believe in players such as Happy Jele, Bulelani Ndengane, Justice Chabalala should the Tyson bid fail.

“You know how it is, I, together with the technical team, believe in the players we have at present. However, if we succeed to get [another centre-back], it is always welcome because everyone would welcome quality,” he concluded.
