National Super Leagues side Kibera Black Stars have appointed Leonard Saleh as their new head coach as the team restructure ahead of the new season.
Saleh formerly with KCB FC in the National Super League is believed to have been appointed due to his experience in the nation’s second-tier and will be taking over the reins over Francis Ochieng, Nicholas Ochieng and Ken Adulo.
The trio was put in charge of the team after the departure of Godfrey Oduor who has since joined KCB FC as an assistant coach under Zedekiah Otieno this after his stint with Kenyan Premier League side Nzoia Sugar FC.
Apart from KCB, Saleh comes in with a wealth of experience after handling teams like Posta Rangers and Bidco United.
His first task will be to get past league debutants Muranga Seal in what will be his first competitive fixture with the match slated for September 1 at the Thika Sub County Stadium.
Kibera finished at position 17 last season having recorded 35 points.
